let’s take the scenic route

I did a whole NewsLink story today in, like, an hour. That was fantastic. The story was about Muncie parks, which are apparently trying to make a come-back. I really hope they can.

Then I rode my bike to the mall with a mission to buy perfect jeans. In the dressing room, with a pair of dark-wash, jean capris, I decided I had completed this mission; however, tomorrow when I wear them will be the true test of worthiness.

I also got one of those reusable bags from Books-a-Million. I’ve been searching for one that doesn’t have some stupid saying, like, “I’m saving the world. What are you doing?” The one I found is simple enough and very large, so it should work for most of my shopping needs. I hope nobody calls me an environmentalist, though, like the guy in Ohio did. I’m pretty conscious of the environment, and I care about it, but the connotation of “environmentalist” is just so … not what I want.
